Bungee rowing
Bungee rowing is traditionally held the day after the Harlingen - Terschelling rowing race. In the 1st dock of the harbor, approximately 30 participating rowing teams compete to see who can row the furthest on the elastic. By applying as much force and speed as possible, each team will try to stretch the elastic as far as possible. A measuring tape is attached to the elastic. Whoever gets the furthest wins.
